8 Colorways: All-New Anta Shock Wave 5 Released, to Be Worn by Kyrie Irving

8 different colorways of Anta's new Shock Wave 5 basketball shoes have been released by the China-based brand.

This model is anticipated to be prominently featured by NBA player Kyrie Irving at the start of the upcoming NBA season, as he recently established a partnership with Anta.

The design of the Anta Shock Wave 5 takes inspiration from animals.

In terms of tech, the shoe offers impressive cushioning through its double-layer nitroedge technology, combining a full palm nitrogen midsole with a nitrogen insole. Torsion resistance is enhanced by a double-layer system, consisting of a carbon fiber anti-torsion sheet in the midfoot, hollowed-out TPU in the midfoot, carbon plate on the top, TPU on the bottom, and a TPU accelerator on the forefoot.

The vamp design incorporates dynamic line technology, ensuring a dynamic fit to the foot surface during directional changes. The outer hemming features a three-color and three-hardness TPU material, with a soft forefoot for agility, a hard midfoot for support and torsion resistance, and a moderate heel for stability. The shoe also boasts a cement nemesis wear-resistant outsole and a toe cap for toe protection.
