Since taking over as the league's official apparel provider ahead of the 17-18 campaign, Nike's annual City Edition program has produced some of the most popular alternate uniforms in basketball history. To mark the 10-year milestone, the brand is preparing special commemorative details alongside the return of iconic past designs.

Nike 2026-2027 City Edition 10-Year Anniversary - Special Branding & Fan-Favorite Returns

Much like the NBA's 75th anniversary celebration during the 21-22 season, the 26-27 City Edition collection will feature special commemorative branding. Uniforms are set to include an iridescent finish on the Nike Swoosh/Jordan Brand Jumpman logo, plus the NBA logo on the back neck.

Rather than introducing entirely new concepts, many teams will use the anniversary to bring back or remix fan-favorite designs from the past nine years.

Early leaks and announcements reveal several high-profile returns. The Washington Wizards have confirmed the comeback of their popular Cherry Blossom 2022-23 uniform, while the Philadelphia 76ers are expected to bring back their acclaimed 17-18 parchment-style script jersey featuring updated anniversary accents.
