The Los Angeles Lakers have unveiled their new Statement Edition Jersey for the 2025-26 season and beyond in June 2025, almost four months ahead of the retail launch.

The Los Angeles Lakers 2025-26 Statement Edition continues the team's tradition with a rich purple base as its primary color. The classic "LAKERS" wordmark and player numbers are executed in white, featuring a distinct golden outline. As a Statement uniform, it features the Jordan Brand "Jumpman" logo on the right chest, positioned opposite the team's "bibigo" sponsorship patch.
Simple gold and white trim adorns the collar and arm openings, complementing the single gold stripe that runs down each side panel. Completing the design is the inspirational phrase "LEAVE A LEGACY" embroidered in gold above the standard NBA jock tag.

The new 2025 Lakers Statement Jersey (on the right) offers a cleaner, more traditional design by removing the prominent black side panels and trim found on the previous version. This throwback-inspired change is complemented by a switch to white numbers with a gold drop shadow, departing from the former gold-and-black numbering.
