The Los Angeles Lakers have confirmed that their City Edition uniform for the upcoming 2025-26 NBA season will be a direct re-release of the design used in the 2023-24 season. This move will see the team's black "California Dream" Jersey return to the court after a one year absence.

The Nike Los Angeles Lakers 25-26 City jersey is built on a solid black base and prominently features the team’s iconic purple and yellow colorscheme. The "Los Angeles" wordmark is styled in gold with a bold purple drop-shadow, while the number below is reverted. The "Lakers" wordmark below is rendered in the same color as the LA script. The aesthetic is completed by simple purple striping on the trim and the collar.
