Brooklyn Nets 2026-27 Classic Edition Uniform

Built on a crisp white base, the Brooklyn Nets 2026-27 Classic Edition jersey prominently showcases the vintage red script "Nets" wordmark across the chest, traced with a thin royal blue outline. The player numbers follow the same treatment in bold red with blue bordering. Classic tri-color ribbed striping rings the round collar and armholes, while matching vertical red and royal blue panels run down the sides of the jersey and shorts.

Vintage Nike Futura branding sits on the right chest opposite the Alibaba jersey sponsor patch on the left chest.

The throwback set is complemented by retro-styled off-white ribbed tube socks, clean white accessories, and matching trim along the shorts waistband.

Brooklyn is scheduled to wear the 2026-27 Classic Edition uniform across 16 regular-season games, accompanied by a dedicated commemorative court design honoring the team's historic ABA origins at Barclays Center.

Nike's new Specter series serves as an alternate wardrobe addition celebrating the deep heritage of eight of the league's longest-standing franchises.

Detroit Pistons 2026-27 Specter Edition Uniform

The Detroit Pistons 2026-27 Specter Edition uniform is built on a pitch-black base highlighted by an airbrushed flame graphic in vibrant red, orange, and teal that surges upward across the torso and continues onto the matching shorts. Compared to the digital visuals seen so far, the real-life look looks way richer, with more vibrant colors.

The Pistons are scheduled to showcase the Specter Edition uniform in three regular-season home matchups during the 2026-27 campaign: November 29 against the Orlando Magic, December 14 against the Brooklyn Nets, and December 18 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Theatrical Lighting Rig at Xfinity Mobile Arena

According to the team, the new setup is designed to bring an immersive, stage-like atmosphere to the venue. The system utilizes focused theatrical lighting centered on the playing surface alongside synchronized PixMob technology across the seating bowl for player introductions and pivotal game moments. By casting higher-intensity light directly onto the court while dimming the surrounding stands, the Sixers have adopted a presentation style reminiscent of the theatrical setups long featured by franchises like the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets.

The radical shift quickly became a major talking point across television broadcasts and social media. Side-by-side comparisons against 2025-26 game footage reveal a significantly cooler, brighter court floor with heightened reflections and starker contrast against the crowd.

New York Knicks 2026-27 City Edition Uniform

Marking the tenth anniversary of Nike's NBA City Edition program, the league is celebrating by having teams revisit standout designs from past seasons. The Knicks' reprise is scheduled to make its on-court debut on January 14, 2027, against the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden and will be worn across 11 games throughout the regular season.

The 2026-27 City Edition uniform is virtually the same as the 2021-22 edition. It features a solid black base highlighted by subtle tonal checkered side panels running down both the jersey and shorts. Arched across the chest is the classic "NEW YORK" wordmark in vivid orange with a clean white outline, matching the player numbering below. Orange and royal blue piping accents the collar, armholes, and side striping, adding an unmistakable Knicks touch to the dark palette.

The uniform is finished with the iconic Nike "NYC" swoosh co-branding embroidered in white on the right chest and lower left thigh of the shorts. The Knicks' secondary logo appears centered on the front waistband, while the team's jersey partner patch sits on the upper left chest, completing a faithful return of one of New York's most popular modern alternate looks.

NBA 2026-2027 Jerseys - All 30 Teams

The 2026-27 uniform landscape is notably headlined by the arrival of Nike's all-new Specter Edition uniforms, created exclusively for the league's eight oldest franchises: the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, Detroit Pistons, Atlanta Hawks, and Sacramento Kings. Additionally, the four franchises from the 1976 ABA merger (the Brooklyn Nets, Denver Nuggets, Indiana Pacers, and San Antonio Spurs) are honoring their roots with dedicated Classic Edition throwback sets.

Several teams also enter the 2026-27 season with significant visual updates, including refreshed Icon looks and rebrands for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Houston Rockets. Opening night also featured a gold-trimmed championship variant for the defending champion New York Knicks, while the league's newest wave of City Edition uniforms will round out rotations when they arrive later in the campaign.

To celebrate their 2025-26 NBA Championship victory, the franchise's first in 53 years, the New York Knicks unveiled a special gold-accented version of their white Association Edition jersey for their 2026-27 season opener and banner-raising ceremony against the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden.

The celebratory design takes the team's regular uniform and elevates it with championship gold accents. On the back, player names are stitched in metallic gold lettering, paired with matching gold numbers highlighted by royal blue bordering.

Directly above the nameplate is a customized gold Larry O'Brien Trophy patch inscribed with "2025-26 Champions", positioned right beneath a gold tab on the rear collar displaying the number "3" to honor the franchise's third league title.

Completing the commemorative look, the jersey retains the Knicks' signature blue and orange striping along the crew-neck collar and arm openings. Worn exclusively for the ring ceremony and opening night festivities, the jersey marks a memorable celebration of the team's historic triumph.

Commemorative 'Year 24' Jersey Patch

Positioned on the upper right chest above the Nike Swoosh on the 76ers' uniform, the badge features a pointed shield silhouette with the words NBA SEASONS displayed across the top. The center showcases a large white 24 with bold outlines set against a split blue and red background, layered beneath a black silhouette of James' iconic arms-raised pregame celebration.

The initiative expands upon the program first seen during James' 23rd season in 2025-26. After every contest, the Philadelphia equipment team will video-record the removal and dating of each patch before shipping them to Topps for CGC authentication. Select game-worn patches will then be embedded into ultra-rare, one-of-one Topps trading cards throughout the season.

New NBA 2026-2027 Core Courts

The Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves made updates to align with comprehensive offseason brand revamps, while the Denver Nuggets and Toronto Raptors introduced fresh aesthetic overhauls.

Minnesota Timberwolves 2026-27 Core Court

Minnesota's court at Target Center reflects the franchise's complete visual overhaul unveiled earlier in the offseason. The new floor is anchored by the updated howling wolf crest at center court within a vibrant green and blue ring. The painted keys shift from dark navy to a sleek grey tone, while the baseline aprons feature the updated "TIMBERWOLVES" typeface flanked by signature green pine trees.

Houston Rockets 2026-27 Core Court

In Houston, the Toyota Center floor adapts to the Rockets' refreshed brand identity. The primary "R" logo remains at center court with updated drop-shadow accents, while the team's newly introduced secondary shield logos now sit within both three-point arcs alongside subtle red and yellow border detailing on the sidelines.

Denver Nuggets 2026-27 Core Court

At Ball Arena, the Nuggets replaced their dark navy apron with a natural wood border, stained the three-point zones in a darker tone, and filled the keys in deep navy with "5280" altitude markings. A subtle silhouette of the Denver skyline and Rocky Mountains now stretches beneath the center-court pickaxe logo.

Toronto Raptors 2026-27 Core Court

Meanwhile, the Raptors removed the jagged black chevron patterns from the Scotiabank Arena perimeter, opting for a solid red apron and clean white lettering. Toronto's new floor also incorporates two-tone wood shading within the arcs complemented by large maple leaf watermarks anchoring both ends.

On-Court Debuts Confirmed for New Fifth Uniform Set

Created exclusively for the league's eight original and oldest surviving franchises (New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, Golden State Warriors, Detroit Pistons, Atlanta Hawks, and Sacramento Kings), the Specter Edition serves as a fifth jersey option, heavily utilizing dark bases, spray-faded textures, and historic franchise motifs.

Four teams will be the first to take the court in their new jerseys, making their debuts on Sunday, November 29, 2026: New York Knicks, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors, and Sacramento Kings.

The remaining teams will debut their Specter uniforms as December progresses.

NBA City Edition 2026-2027 Floors - Custom Floors for Most NBA Teams

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Nike's City Edition program, the 2026-27 campaign sees numerous franchises reviving fan-favorite throwback themes and iconic past aesthetics, with the court designs following suit to deliver unified visual presentations on home floor game nights.

Unlike the brightly painted tournament surfaces unveiled for the Emirates NBA Cup, these City Edition floors are dedicated to regular season showcase games. Highlights across the league include the return of the Washington Wizards' cherry blossom graphics, the San Antonio Spurs' vibrant turquoise, pink, and orange Fiesta brushstrokes, the Brooklyn Nets' Jean-Michel Basquiat-inspired herringbone court, and the Denver Nuggets' rainbow skyline motif. Other standout hardwood treatments include the Detroit Pistons' retro-inspired floor, the Miami Heat's neon-accented Vice scheme, and the Minnesota Timberwolves' Prince-inspired tribute.

Not every franchise will feature a bespoke City Edition floor this season. Six teams (the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, Portland Trail Blazers, Utah Jazz, Houston Rockets, and Memphis Grizzlies) are scheduled to use their standard regular season courts alongside their City Edition uniforms, while the Chicago Bulls remain unconfirmed due to potential miscategorization in the league database.

Miami Heat 2026-27 Vice City Uniform

While official imagery or/and info on the 2026-27 uniform has not yet been revealed, the Heat confirmed that the team will take the floor in an all-new reimagined kit created specifically for the event.

2K Jersey Creator launched a competition to design a Miami Heat City uniform. Designers greatly showed off which directions the Miami Heat 2026-27 Vice City jersey could take - a fresh and vibrant look inspired by the scenery of Vice City.

The collaboration builds on Miami's popular "Vice" series from past seasons, uniting the club's signature neon aesthetic with the setting of Rockstar's upcoming title.

Toronto Raptors 2027-28 Statement Edition Uniform

Mockup.

Rather than launching a complete team rebrand or resurrecting the original dinosaur logo, the upcoming 2027-28 Statement Edition is reported to be a color swap based on the current template.

Toronto has worn its current black and red Statement uniform since the 2020-21 campaign, and production of that version is reportedly slated to wind down by late 2026. The new look will transpose the existing staggered wordmark, red trim, and subtle claw mark details onto a rich purple base.

Purple defined the Raptors from their expansion debut in 1995 until the mid-2000s, when the organization shifted toward a red-and-black palette aligned with Canadian national colors. Transitioning the Statement Edition to purple ensures the iconic colorway returns as a core, multi-year fixture on the court.

Washington Wizards Target New Visual Identity for 2027-28

Speaking on 106.7 The Fan, Monumental Sports & Entertainment President and Vice Chairman Zach Leonsis acknowledged that the organization is actively listening to fan feedback demanding a modern look. Leonsis emphasized that the redesign is a multi-year process, noting that the earliest possible rollout for new on-court gear would arrive ahead of the season after next.

The rebrand timeline aligns directly with the completion of the $1 billion transformation of Capital One Arena, scheduled to wrap up in fall 2027 ahead of the 2027-28 NBA season. While a franchise moniker change has been ruled out, team executives are evaluating brand updates that include redesigned primary Association and Icon uniforms alongside potential logo updates.

The Wizards have worn their patriotic red, white, and navy blue scheme since 2011, when they retired the blue, bronze, and black identity adopted in 1997.

Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the landmark 1976 ABA-NBA merger, the four newly revealed throwback uniforms have been widely praised for their retro aesthetics and matching court designs.

Concept Mockups Highlight Untapped ABA Heritage

Popular basketball community page HoopGrids highlighted the strong appetite for more retro designs by sharing mockups superimposing defunct ABA identities onto modern NBA jerseys. The concepts show a blue and green San Diego Sails uniform, a navy New Orleans Buccaneers jersey complete with classic script lettering adapted to the Pelicans' current template, and a cardinal red Carolina Cougars uniform featuring Charlotte's Jordan Brand logo and jersey sponsor patch.

Nike NBA Classic Edition Jerseys

While the official 2026-27 Classic Edition program focuses exclusively on the four surviving merger franchises, celebrating defunct ABA clubs has a proven track record in the league. During previous Hardwood Classics campaigns, teams such as the Charlotte Bobcats, New Orleans Hornets, Miami Heat, Memphis Grizzlies, and Minnesota Timberwolves wore throwback uniforms honoring the Cougars, Buccaneers, Floridians, Sounds, and Muskies, respectively.

Nets, Nuggets, Pacers and Spurs 2026-2027 Classic Edition Jerseys

Each franchise has revived a signature design from its time in the ABA. Indiana returns to its iconic blue and gold look, Denver swaps navy and gold for vintage orange, Brooklyn brings back classic New York Nets detailing, and San Antonio revisits its earliest franchise styling.

To complete the tribute, all four teams will also play on matching throwback court designs during designated games throughout the 2026-27 season.

Designed to Contrast Statement Edition Uniforms

Each court's color scheme is deliberately crafted to provide a strong visual contrast against the home team's Statement Edition uniform, which will be worn on the floor during Emirates NBA Cup games. Taking design cues from Nike's Standard Issue Collection, the hardwood features oversized, mirrored team wordmarks applied subtly across the main playing area. Center court highlights the Emirates NBA Cup trophy positioned directly behind each team's primary logo, with additional trophy silhouettes painted horizontally inside both keys.

The customized layouts also incorporate the tournament's official tagline, "30 Teams. 8 Advance. 1 Champion.," placed near the corner three-point lines, while team monikers and civic slogans decorate the aprons and baselines.

Group Play for the 2026-27 tournament begins on October 30, 2026, leading up to the Championship Game on December 11 in Indianapolis.

Four NBA Franchises Set for Uniform Redesigns in 27-28

According to uniform insider ProLineMockups, the Indiana Pacers, San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, and Washington Wizards are all slated to receive new uniforms for the 27-28 NBA campaign.

Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers are poised to complete their aesthetic transition following the debut of their gold pinstripe Statement Edition jersey for the 26-27 season. That design channeled the iconic late-1990s Reggie Miller era, and reports indicate the franchise plans to roll out matching pinstriped Association and Icon editions for 27-28, completing a full throwback-inspired primary identity.

San Antonio Spurs

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs could be set for an entirely revamped jersey set. While San Antonio has remained steadfast with their traditional silver and black primary look for decades, rumors point toward the team potentially embracing their vibrant Fiesta colors.

Toronto Raptors

North of the border, the Toronto Raptors are expected to tweak their lineup with changes to their alternate rotation. The team's Statement Edition is reportedly shifting away from black and returning to a signature purple base, honoring the beloved color that defined the franchise during its inaugural years in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Washington Wizards

The most dramatic makeover may belong to the Washington Wizards, who could undergo an extensive rebrand. Speculation suggests Washington may move away from their current red, white, and blue scheme to revive their original late-1990s aesthetic of blue, bronze, and black. Those rumors intensified after team personnel were recently spotted wearing a cap sporting a modernized 'W' wizard-head crest, teasing a new visual era in the capital.

NBA 26-27 Classic Edition Uniforms

The nostalgia wave is officially returning to the hardwood. We have exciting news indicating that the NBA will be digging deep into the American Basketball Association (ABA) archives for the upcoming season's uniform rotation. According to this report by reputable source @ProLineMockups at least four NBA franchises are slated to receive new Classic Edition unis that honor their historic ABA roots.

Brooklyn Nets

The Nets are expected to channel the iconic Julius Erving era. A return to the classic New York Nets aesthetic which features the vintage red, white, and blue colorway with signature star-spangled side paneling is highly anticipated.

Denver Nuggets

Before they were the modern Nuggets, the franchise built its foundation in the ABA as the Denver Rockets. This Classic Edition is expected to feature vibrant, vintage colorways, potentially resurrecting the classic typography from the 1970s.

Indiana Pacers

Boasting one of the most successful ABA legacies, the Pacers are primed to revive their golden era. Expect to see a return to the classic royal blue and yellow color-blocking, paying homage to the championship-winning squads that dominated the league before the NBA merger.

San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs have a fascinating ABA lineage. By leaning into the inaugural retro silver and black aesthetic from their historic move to San Antonio, this upcoming Classic Edition jersey is destined to be a grail for collectors.

The Nike NBA 2026-27 Classic Edition jerseys will be launched on 19 October 2026.

As part of the collaboration, the Heat will take the floor against the Milwaukee Bucks on November 18 in a brand-new Vice City-themed alternate uniform, serving as the centerpiece for "A Night in Vice City", an in-arena event held on the eve of the game's official global launch.

The game will feature a custom hardwood court design matching the GTA VI color scheme, alongside unique in-arena entertainment, special programming, and promotional activations throughout the Kaseya Center. The initiative extends beyond the arena walls, backed by a citywide marketing campaign with "Welcome to Vice City" installations on the Kaseya Center roof, at Miami International Airport, and on infrastructure across the city.

The Evolution of the Vice Lineup

Miami's Vice series originally debuted during the 2017-18 season, capturing global attention with a cursive wordmark inspired by retro Miami Arena signage set against vibrant pink and blue accents. What began as a single City Edition jersey quickly grew into one of the most iconic Jersey Set in NBA history.

— Lakers All Day Everyday (@LADEig) September 10, 2026

Nike 26-27 NBA Specter Edition Uniforms

Check out the all-new Nike 26-27 NBA Specter Edition uniforms below.

The eight franchises selected to receive a Specter Edition uniform are the Sacramento Kings (the oldest operating franchise in the NBA), Detroit Pistons, Atlanta Hawks, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Boston Celtics.

Each jersey aims to reinterpret the franchise's identity through historic iconography, city heritage, and fan culture through smoky, abstract, and specter-like visual motifs.

Rather than executing direct vintage remakes, Nike has embraced an unconventional design language characterized by airbrushed gradients, glowing glows, and dark shadowy foundations. The Sacramento Kings shirt highlights a hazy purple silhouette shaped after the club's 2014 crown logo, while the Boston Celtics jersey incorporates an ethereal green vortex on black. The Philadelphia 76ers feature vibrant glowing stars lining the torso, the Detroit Pistons display streaks of flame across a dark base, and the Los Angeles Lakers sport fluid waves of purple with classic gold accents.

From a technical perspective, the Specter Edition uniforms are engineered with Nike's Aero-Fit construction for lightweight breathability, aligning closely with the performance materials utilized across the rest of the 26-27 Standard Issue range. The jerseys will also arrive with dedicated matching off-court apparel.

While the first waves of the wider NBA Standard Issue collection are scheduled to roll out in September and October, the official retail release and on-court debut of the Specter Edition uniforms will follow later in fall 2026.

All-New Nike NBA 26-27 Sideline Collection Released - Modern Streetwear Meets Basketball Culture

The collection moves away from standard sideline gear in favor of contemporary oversized silhouettes, relaxed drape cuts, and expressive graphics. Pieces feature two distinct visual directions across all 30 teams, ranging from bold, airbrushed, and spray-painted aesthetics to more understated tonal arrangements. Each franchise receives customized typography and color blocking tailored to its visual identity, finished with woven labels, premium braided drawcords, and custom hardware.

Performance remains at the core of the line despite its streetwear appeal. Developed using direct feedback from more than 100 NBA players, 400 elite high school athletes, all 30 organizations, and fans worldwide, the range incorporates high-performance materials. Items are engineered with breathable Aero-Fit technology, structured bouncy fleece, and flexible Standard Issue Stretch Dri-FIT fabrics to seamlessly transition from active warmups to casual lifestyle wear.

In an unprecedented move, the exact garments worn by players will be fully accessible to the public. While previous seasons often separated on-court player-issued gear from retail fan merchandise, the 26-27 Standard Issue Collection will see NBA athletes wear the exact pieces during pre-game warmups, practices, and travel days that supporters can purchase for themselves.

The Nike NBA Standard Issue Collection launches in two drops, with the first wave arriving on September 15, 2026, followed by a second installment on October 12, 2026, at Nike, NBA Store, and select global retailers.

Nike has also teased an upcoming companion Specter Edition uniform collection for eight historic franchises set to debut later in the fall.

River Plate 2026-27 Away Jersey

The new River 26-27 away jersey features a classic tricolor vertical stripe pattern combining bold red and crisp white columns separated by thin black borders. Designed with a retro-inspired white V-neck collar, the sleeveless top replaces the standard modern badge layout with adidas Originals’ iconic red Trefoil logo on the right chest and the classic C.A.R.P. shield crest on the left.

River Plate 2026-27 Away Shorts

The matching away shorts are executed in a vibrant all-red base framed by clean white bottom hem piping and the tradionational adidas white three stripes. The right leg displays the traditional River crest enclosed within its black and red shield border, while a white adidas Trefoil logo sits on the opposite hem.

Basketball vs Football

Both jerseys share a unified visual identity by utilizing River Plate's iconic tricolor vertical stripe pattern of red, white, and thin black borders. They also both feature retro adidas Originals branding with a red Trefoil logo on the right chest and the classic C.A.R.P. shield crest on the left.

Fenerbahçe 2026-27 Home Jersey

The classic Fenerbahçe 2026-27 home uniform remains anchored in the club’s traditional identity, featuring broad yellow and navy vertical stripes across the main body. Bold navy side panels extend down the torso, paired with a matching navy and yellow V-neck collar. The front layout highlights a centered white adidas logo alongside prominent sponsor details, including "tarfin" and "ASTOR" branding beneath player numbering.

Fenerbahçe 2026-27 Away Jersey

The Fenerbahçe 26/27 away strip drops in a rich deep blue colorway adorned with an intricate, tonal graphic pattern pressed into the fabric. Striking gold accents outline the collar and armhole borders, extending seamlessly into the typical adidas gold side stripes. Gold numbering, adidas branding, and sponsor prints pop cleanly against the textured dark canvas.

Fenerbahçe 2026-27 Third Jersey

Completing the range is the Fener 26-27 third jersey, built on a light yellow and white striped foundation surrounded by golden accents. The silhouette is finished with gold trim on the V-neck and shoulder borders, subtle gold lateral stripes, and bronze-tinted chest typography, anchored by adidas’ iconic Trefoil logo on the center chest.

Boca Básquet 26-27 Home Shirt

The Boca Básquet 26-27 home shirt maintains the club's iconic look, featuring a rich royal blue base accompanied by the traditional horizontal yellow chest band and yellow accents along the collar and armholes.

Boca Básquet 26-27 Away Shirt

Stepping back in time, the Boca Basket 26-27 away jersey embraces an eye-catching vintage approach. It is predominantly white with fine navy vertical pinstripes across the body, a navy collar, and classic Three Stripes along the sides. In a standout detail, the away uniform features the iconic Adidas Trefoil logo and a retro CABJ crest highlighted by a diagonal yellow sash, paying homage to the club's storied history.

Nike NBA 26-27 City Edition Collection

This anniversary collection functions as a league-wide retrospective, giving franchises the opportunity to re-issue some of the most celebrated alternate looks introduced since Nike took over the NBA apparel partnership in 2017. Rather than crafting untested concepts, the upcoming season will see clubs revisit iconic City Edition and select Earned Edition jerseys from past campaigns.

Several teams have already confirmed their returning looks, while the rest of the 30-team lineup has leaked ahead of the full official launch. Notable revivals include the Atlanta Hawks bringing back their acclaimed 2020-21 Martin Luther King Jr. tribute uniform, the Brooklyn Nets returning to their iconic 2018-19 "Bed-Stuy" Biggie-inspired design, and the Boston Celtics re-introducing their clean 2018-19 Earned Edition look. Other standout returns include San Antonio's 1990s "Fiesta" colors and Washington's popular 2022-23 cherry blossom jersey.

The entire Nike NBA 26-27 City Edition collection is scheduled to be officially unveiled in the coming weeks/months.
