The extended NBA deal allows Nike to continue designing uniforms, on-court apparel, and fan merchandise for both leagues globally.

While the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, insiders suggest it greatly surpasses the previous $1 billion agreement ($125 million/year). It is "much bigger," a person familiar with the matter told CNBC. The previous deal was valid from 2017 until 2025.

The uniforms will remain the central feature on the court, with each franchise showcasing a variety of “edition” jerseys. The ongoing themes of Icon, Association, Statement, Classic, and City edition uniforms are expected to continue and evolve.

"You can definitely expect more from us in terms of innovation and storytelling," stated Hvizdak, Nike Vice President of Global Athlete Sports Marketing.
