Anthony Edwards To Switch Jersey Number

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is set to change his jersey number for the Minnesota-based franchise beginning from the 2023-24 season. He currently wears jersey no.1 for the team.

He is set to change to 5, a number he "feels more comfortable playing in". Anthony wore number 5 during his time at high school and college. Because of his successful time wearing the number, fans widely regard him as a no.5.

The former number 5 Kyle Anderson will wear no.1 for the T-Wolves, a number he previously wore during his spells in San Antonio and Memphis.
