The Brooklyn Nets have officially unveiled their Classic Edition uniform for the 2026-27 NBA season, celebrating both the franchise's 60th season and the 50th anniversary of the 1976 ABA-NBA merger. Drawing direct inspiration from the 1968 to 1972 era of the New York Nets, the design returns the team to its iconic red, white, and blue heritage. We take a closer look at it.

Built on a crisp white base, the Brooklyn Nets 2026-27 Classic Edition jersey prominently showcases the vintage red script "Nets" wordmark across the chest, traced with a thin royal blue outline. The player numbers follow the same treatment in bold red with blue bordering. Classic tri-color ribbed striping rings the round collar and armholes, while matching vertical red and royal blue panels run down the sides of the jersey and shorts.

Vintage Nike Futura branding sits on the right chest opposite the Alibaba jersey sponsor patch on the left chest.

The throwback set is complemented by retro-styled off-white ribbed tube socks, clean white accessories, and matching trim along the shorts waistband.

Brooklyn is scheduled to wear the 2026-27 Classic Edition uniform across 16 regular-season games, accompanied by a dedicated commemorative court design honoring the team's historic ABA origins at Barclays Center.
