Texas Tech prezentuje zmodernizowane logo „Double T” i nowy projekt boiska

Texas Tech Athletics has officially introduced a new suite of athletics-specific logos, highlighted by a modernized "Double T" that will become the primary mark for the department. The new logo will be fully implemented across all athletics uniforms, produced by adidas, beginning with the 2026-27 academic year.

The New Look and Rollout

The modernized Double T is a clean, flat design that maintains the traditional aspects of the iconic logo but updates it with more proportional elements. The university plans a gradual rollout, installing the new logo in athletic facilities over the coming months before a full launch with merchandise becoming available to the public in the spring of 2026.

In addition to the primary logo, the new brand identity will include new secondary marks, such as a rearing Masked Rider, and three specialized new fonts.

New Court Design:

Fans can already get a preview of the new mark, as it is featured prominently at center court of the brand-new United Supermarkets Arena floor design.

Director of Athletics Kirby Hocutt described the multi-year project as a way to "propel our athletics brand further into this new era of college athletics." The rebranding effort was developed in partnership with adidas and creative agencies LDWW and Torch Creative, following a comprehensive brand audit that included feedback from donors, student-athletes, and coaches.

The new suite of logos will be used exclusively by the athletics department, while the rest of the university will continue to use the traditional beveled Double T.
