Die Delaware Blue Coats zeigen ihre neuen Trikots, die von der Iverson-Ära inspiriert sind.
The Delaware Blue Coats, the NBA G League affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers, have introduced a special-edition uniform that pays tribute to one of the most significant eras in franchise history. The design is a direct homage to the 2000-01 Philadelphia 76ers, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the team’s run to the NBA Finals led by Allen Iverson.
While the parent club in Philadelphia is primarily utilizing a black Hardwood Classic throwback this season, the Blue Coats’ version adapts the aesthetic to their own royal blue brand identity:
-
Typography: The jersey features the word "COATS" rendered in the iconic, italicized font used by the 76ers from 1997 to 2008.
-
Logo Integration: The signature "streaking basketball" logo from the Iverson era is integrated into the wordmark, with the ball shooting across the chest.
-
Colorway: The uniforms utilize a royal blue base with red, gold, and silver trim, mirroring the 76ers' 2000-01 alternate road uniforms.
The introduction of these uniforms is part of a broader, season-long celebration within the 76ers organization. The 76ers are scheduled to wear their black anniversary jerseys for 20 games during the 2025-26 season, supported by alumni tributes and themed game nights. By adopting the "Blue" version of this look, the Delaware Blue Coats are aligning their visual identity with the branding currently being emphasized by the front office in Philadelphia.
