The Minnesota Timberwolves have officially unveiled their Classic Edition uniform for the 2025-26 season, confirming the return of one of the most beloved and unique designs in NBA history. The team is bringing back the iconic black road uniform from the Kevin Garnett era. In addition to the jersey, the team also revealed a matching classic court design that will be used for select games at the Target Center.

The jersey is a faithful recreation of the iconic black road uniform, most famous for its distinctive green tree-lined trim around the v-neck collar and armholes. The classic, jagged "TIMBERWOLVES" wordmark is featured across the chest in white with a light blue outline, a style that is matched by the player numbers. The accompanying shorts are also black and feature the tree trim along the bottom hem and the classic howling wolf logo on the side.

Minnesota Timberwolves 2025-26 Classic Edition Court

Accompanying the classic jersey is a matching court design that completes the throwback experience. The court features the classic center-court logo, which depicts the original wolf head and Timberwolves wordmark along with some trees. The paint inside the keys is colored a light blue, matching the jersey's accents, all set against a traditional parquet floor to bring the complete theme to life.

According to the team's announcement, fans will have plenty of opportunities to see the throwback look in action. The Classic Edition uniform is scheduled to make its on-court debut on October 26th. It will be worn for a total of 28 games throughout the season, with 21 appearances at home in the Target Center and 7 on the road.
